Lab Manager
Sara, both an advisor to H360 Labs and part of the Missouri management team, is a seasoned lab manager, with 13 years of extensive experience in optimizing, qualifying, and validating systems and methods according to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) guidelines and regulations. Over the last 13 years, the owner/lab director has served as a Group Leader and Staff Scientist for the Medical Countermeasures Division at the Midwest Research Institute located at 425 Volker Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64110. Owner/President S.B.H. has worked as Staff Scientist and Lab Director, gaining experience per Good Laboratory Practice guidelines/regulations, and maintaining BioSafety Level-3 labs. She has worked as lead investigator, director, coordinator, and task-leader in contract research under FDA, USDA, and CDC regulations, among others. Possessing security clearance issued by the DOJ and CDC, she has been enrolled in a Biological Personnel Reliability Program for over 12 years.
Lab Director
David, both an advisor to H360 Labs and part of the Missouri management team, has nearly three decades of product development experience with pharmaceutical drug products that have been successfully commercialized domestically and internationally for both human and veterinary applications. He has extensive executive-level experience in product development activities including pharmaceutical product manufacturing, quality control/assurance, project planning, and operating under the guidance of the FDA, USDA, and other drug development regulatory authorities in the US, Canada, UK, India, and Japan. A gifted mentor, he recruits first-class technical talent molding them into high-performance teams that focus on timely and consistent delivery of both technical and financial results, and routinely exceeds industry standards
Scientific Advisor
Dr. Clapp is an Associate Professor of Chemistry at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph Missouri and has been an active member of the American Chemical Society for the past 30+ years serving as the CCEW and NCW Coordinator (2018-2020), Treasurer, Secretary, Vice-Chairman and Chairman for the KC section during the past 20 years. Before joining the University, Dr. Clapp spent more than twenty years in nearly all aspects of cGMP contract pharmaceutical development and in helping business start-ups. Dr. Clapp has also served as an invited technical reviewer on numerous National Institute of Health (NIH), National Institute on Drugs of Abuse (NIDA) technical evaluation committees that included cannabis, cannabinoids, opiates and opioids. In addition, Dr. Clapp acts as the MT1 (Manufacturing Technology 1) Administrator and Subject Matter Expert for Chemistry and Thermodynamics in the Manufacturing Technology 1 certificate program, a National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) Certified program at the regional High School Technical Center and serves on numerous committees and groups focused on workforce development in NW Missouri. He is also one of a group of individuals that helps administer the annual Kenneth A. Spencer Award in Food and Agricultural Chemistry. Dr. Clapp is also a member of the NW Missouri Workforce Development Board organized under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) as the Higher Education representative on the Board of Directors. Dr. Clapp remains passionate about STEM in our rural communities and continues to help bring Science to those that cannot access these activities in the rural townships through grants and other funding that support these efforts.
